Dr. Heuer is a native of Wisconsin and grew up in Holmen (near LaCrosse).  She received her undergraduate education from the University of Wisconsin Eau-Claire and graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry.  Dr. Heuer was awarded the Mellor Holland award for academic and leadership excellence in dental school.  Dr. Heuer did a one year residency at Meriter Hospital in Madison, WI.  During her residency she received advanced training in the treatment of medically compromised patients and in all aspects of general dentistry.  In 2001, Dr. Heuer received the Wisconsin Dental Association Pyramids of Pride Community Outreach Award.

Dr. Heuer currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Dental Hygiene program at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.  She is a member of the Wiscosnin Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.  Dr. Heuer is on staff at St. Vincent Hospital.  Dr. Heuer, her husband Alex and her family reside in Oneida.
