Dr. Murphy is a native of Beloit, Wisconsin. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry. After his graduation, he joined the U.S. Army as a captain in the dental corp. He was stationed at Fort Devens, near Boston, MA, where he did a 2 year residency in advanced dental care.

Dr. Murphy is the founder of MAC Dental and has practiced in the Medical Arts Building for over 36 years. He is skilled in cosmetic and implant dentistry, and sleep apnea treatment along with his practice of family dentistry. He has been a member of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Wisconsin Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is on staff at both Bellin and St. Vincent Hospitals. Over the years Dr. Murphy has traveled to Jamaica as a volunteer with Rotary International to share his dental expertise with needy children and adults. Dr. Murphy and his wife, Patricia, have 3 grown children, 4 grandchildren and reside in Green Bay.
